The Diploma Programme is a 2-year college-prep program that focuses on a broad curriculum and an in-depth course of study. The IB diploma does not replace the North Carolina high school diploma, but strengthens it by serving as a demonstration of motivation and success in a world-recognized rigorous college-prep program.
To earn the diploma requires the study of six content courses and the completion of the core requirements of the diploma programme. Courses are either one or two years long, allowing for study at a level of depth that provides significant opportunity for the development of analytical and evaluative skills.
