IB TESTING AND EARNING AN IB DIPLOMA
All students in the Millbrook Diploma Programme must take the courses and fulfill the requirements that make them eligible to earn an IB diploma. All IB courses culminate in IB assessments administered by the IBO that allow students to potentially earn college credit and an IB diploma. Two-courses are assessed at the end of the senior year and one-year courses are assessed at the end of the year the course is taken.
All IB course assessments are taken as either Higher Level (HL) or Standard Level (SL) assessments. Higher level assessments follow two-year courses and cover a larger amount of material at greater depth. Standard level assessments follow either one-year or two-year assessments and are considered college level "survey" assessments.
