In the Millbrook Diploma Programme, we stress that all students must set out to achieve the IB Diploma. At the same time we stress that the earning of the Diploma is not the only goal of the programme, nor is it the sole determinant of success. The primary value of the Diploma Programme lies within the day to day demands of balancing a number of rigorous courses and core programme requirements.
Not all students will earn the IB diploma. Approximately 80% of all IB Diploma candidates around the world actually earn the IB diplomas. All students that enroll in the Diploma Programme, however, will keep the benefits that come from their efforts and engagement. Earning the IB Diploma
For a student to earn the IB Diploma, he or she must fulfill the requirements specified by the IBO. Descriptions of these requirements, including the 6 content courses and the three core requirements, can be found on the "Programme Description" page.
All Diploma Programme requirements will be assessed by the IBO.* All content courses will earn a grade of 1-7. The core requirements of TOK and the Extended Essay will earn a grades of A-E.
The IB Diploma will be awarded to the student if he or she receives a minimum of 24 total points** on the 6 content course assessments, and...
* CAS requirements are the exception to this rule, as final determination of their completion is determined by the IB coordinator.
** if certain of the above stipulations are not met, the student can earn a minimum of 28 total points and still be eligible for the IB
diploma.

- Earn a grade between 2-7 on six subjects assessed by the IBO, and
- Score at least 12 points for 3 Higher Level courses (16 points if 4 HLs are taken), and
- Score at least 9 points for 3 Standard Level courses (6 points if 2 SLs are taken), and
- Score no grade of 2 or below for a Higher Level course, and
- Score no more than one grade of 2 for a Standard Level course, and
- Earn no more than three grades of 3 or below for all subjects, and
- Earn at least a D or higher for both the TOK and Extended Essay requirements, and
- Meet all CAS requirements, and
- Commit no malpractice on any assessments conducted by the IBO,
